Nomas №21 – Napoli

Nomas issue 21 is dedicated to the most sung city of Italy—to Naples. The port city, the queen of the South with the heritage of its historical centre, with its palazzi and its poor neighbourhoods, as immortalised by Elena Ferrante in her Quartet that added to the city’s myth, becomes the canvas for our summer issue. An ideal place for nomads in search of beauty in the daily life of a city which remains restless even when it goes silent. A culinary destination, Naples retains a passion for football, design, jazz and writers right next to the docks and piers where China and Italy meet as tons of merchandise change hands day and night, destined for the world’s largest markets.
