Disquiet №1

Disquiet is a collection of stories and art with a simple goal, to share the experiences of men and their mental health so that others might feel empowered to share theirs. What we live today is an outdated model of masculinity, the archaic mould men feel they need to fit, the all too damaging phrase “man up”, just a few things that lead to an inability for men to talk about these matters. Silence is what’s killing today’s men. Change is happening, stigmas are being broken, and here within these pages are perfect examples of that, some men, average men like you and I, speaking honestly and openly of their internal disquiet.
