Launched in 2022 as a finite trilogy, this is Motor Dance Journal. Bookish in size, this neatly put together journal explores dance both critically and creatively, meaning (really) that there’s something in here for everyone — whether your hips lie or not. This dusty-red sophomore edition is themed ‘Duets and Dialogues’, which carries on nicely from their first edition, which explored the notion of ‘the solo’ (and asked, ‘Is a soloist ever really dancing alone?’) This question blurs pleasingly into the second edition, its duets and its dialogues.
