Little White Lies has been at the vanguard of today’s generation of indie magazines since its 2005 launch, and is still as overflowing with love for movies as ever.
With the 108th issue we’re back with another Wes Anderson film out in the cinemas – The Phoenician Scheme. On the cover, main character and wealthy business man Zsa-Zsa Korda, played by Benicio del Toro, with the cast in the background. The LWL team are in conversation with Anderson himself, del Toro, Michael Cera, Mia Threapleton and design lead Anna Pinnock.
Inspired by Korda’s antihero characteristics, LWL put together a list celebrating 49 ‘loveable bastards’ of 1940s cinema, spread throughout the issue.
