Afterall № 47

Published twice a year, Afterall journal (the journal of Afterall centre) includes in-depth considerations of the work of contemporary artists, as well as essays on art history and critical theory. Founded in 1998 by Professors Charles Esche and Mark Lewis, Afterall centre focuses on late modern and contemporary art (1955 onwards). The Centre has an academic emphasis on developing the field of exhibition histories and is closely linked to the MRes Art: Exhibition Studies pathway. It disseminates their research through several publication strands.
